DVA and NDIS

At West End Dental, we are proud to offer dental services for patients under the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). We understand the importance of accessible dental care, and our team is committed to providing quality services for eligible individuals through these programs.

DVA (Department of Veterans’ Affairs)

If you are a veteran or a dependent of a veteran, you may be eligible for dental services under the DVA. We provide a range of dental treatments for DVA cardholders, including preventive care, check-ups, fillings, crowns and more!

To access DVA dental benefits, you must have a DVA Health Card (Gold or White).

When booking your appointment, inform our team that you are eligible under the DVA. We will confirm your eligibility and provide information on the specific treatments available to you.

Once your treatment is complete, we will submit the claim directly to DVA on your behalf. You won’t need to worry about handling the paperwork – our team will take care of it.

For eligible DVA cardholders, most dental services are covered, so you won’t have to pay anything out-of-pocket for treatments that fall within the approved benefits.

NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme)

We also offer dental services for patients who are eligible for the NDIS. Our clinic is equipped to support individuals with various disabilities, ensuring that they receive the dental care they need in a comfortable and understanding environment.

If you are a participant in the NDIS and have dental treatment included in your plan, we can assist with your treatment needs. We will need to confirm that dental services are part of your NDIS plan.

When you call to book an appointment, please let us know that you are an NDIS participant. We can discuss the specific treatments covered under your plan and ensure that we are able to meet your needs.

If your NDIS plan includes dental services, your plan manager or support coordinator will need to be involved in the process. We’ll work with them to ensure that your treatments are in line with your approved plan.

After your appointment, we will submit the claim to the NDIS or your plan manager. You may be required to pay any remaining gap if there are out-of-pocket expenses, depending on your plan.

We are here to guide you through the process, whether you’re claiming through DVA or NDIS. Our friendly staff will assist with your paperwork, help you understand your coverage, and ensure that your treatments are billed correctly. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions about the claiming process.
